First Sunday in October
First Sunday in October – This is a rendering of the start of the 1967 U.S. Grand Prix at Watkins Glen. On the front row are Graham Hill and Jim Clark in their Lotus 49’s straddling Dan Gurney in his Eagle/Weslake. Clark would go on to win dramatically with his right rear suspension collapsing over the final two laps. This large giclee is reproduced from an original Greg Davis pen & ink. The title is a reference to the traditional date on which the U.S.G.P. was held every year at Watkins Glen. The image size is 35.5 x 17 with a one-half-inch border added for framing purposes. This limited edition is printed on heavy-stock Red River Aurora paper using archival inks and re-signed and numbered in pencil by the artist. An individual, numbered certificate of authenticity is included with each edition print. Price $180.00
